About the Contents
-
The Internet!
Okay, so technically not true.. this doesn't connect to anything, and its not automatically updated.
But! it has most of the internet's worthwhile content.
Other than the worlds best encyclopedia (Wikipedia), your drive has:
- Project Gutenberg (60k books)
- Medical Resources
- Farming Guides
- iFixIt
- And much more!
-
The Guide
Honestly... this is a lot of what you're paying for. It took me awhile to learn and compile this. It will save you significant time!
---
You'll receive a physical, laminated sheet with with directions on how to access your files.
---
(There is also a read me file on the drive with the same guide)
-
KiWix
This is the software this device uses to compress some of the information it holds.
---
They are a super cool company, with a really cool mission.. To spread the internets resources globally, offline.
---
Their software is free, but I want to support their goals; so $10+ from each device goes directly back to Kiwix.
-
Personal Works
I like to pretend I understand things...
---
So I wanted to include a few resources I made that I think could be helpful. These Include:
- How to Solar
- End Times Prophecy
- Survival Checklist
- Theoretical Medical Cures...
About the Chosen Drive
-
SanDisk Dual Luxe 256 GB
These all metal, USBA & USBC flash drives are the perfect unit for this task.
---
There aren't many dual port options available. And I wanted to use a reputable manufacturer.
---
These seem to be fairly durable, still working well after my personal testing.
-
Multi Device Compatible
All of the information within the drive can be easily viewed from a smartphone or computer.
---
For use on mobile, download the KiWix app from your respective app store.
---
For use on desktop, you can run the KiWix software directly from the drive.
-
General note-
In general, all flash drives get bad reviews. Not sure why the tech isnt better, but I sourced the best availble and it's still not great.
---
They can get warm. This is normal, and you can also help prevent some of it.
If watching videos on the drive, I've found it best to transfer them to the devise first, rather than actively pulling the data. This seems to prevent a lot of heat
About Me
-
Hi! My name's Ryan
And I am a Wilderness Explorer in Tribe Pennsylvania.
---
I'm a young entrepreneur and have lots of crazy ideas. Here's the latest.
-
Am I scamming you?
Nope!
---
Trust will come with reviews; but I'm a good little Christian, Eagle Scout boy and can promise a safe, malware free drive.
-
Why do It?
I made one for myself, and my friend Romy said "You should sell that".
--
So here we are. I figured it could be a truly useful project and product for many people.
